[ARC5] AN/APX-1 and AN/APX-2 IFF systems

They are deaf as a post only by modern standards. They have a NF in the
10-15 dB range, I think, which is comparable to ELINT receivers w/o RF amp
stages even into the 1960s, like the SR-209 or GLR-9. The tuners are
basically a preselector, mixer, LO, and sometimes an IF stage.

Fact is, because of the RADAR Equation, this kind of set doesn't have to
be very low noise. The transmitters have KW to MW EIRPs.
