"Dynamotors make noise?"

Cutesy little "plastic" radios, which all look like they came
out of a very, very expensive box of Cracker Jacks,
sit there quietly and sound like.... nothing.
Perhaps that's how a bit of plastic that costs $5000 should sound?
I half expect it to quietly apologize for that annoying little
"click" when one pushes the plastic "ON" button.
Why, plastic radios make me want to sit next to them 
in my "snuggie," enjoying my chamomile tea in my bunny slippers
while listening to Barry Manilow.
Heaven forbid the quarter-sized cooling fan should ever squeek!
Why, my slippers may run and hide under the bed....

Give me my dynamo- generating POWER 
should make noise and heat, by God!
Rotating as the cosmos rotates, brushes thrashing sparks,
my own personal thunderstorm.
Creation is a noisy business.
They can keep the timid little plastic boxes
for the timid little plastic souls.
Men do not "go quietly into that good night."
