OK... Home from work at last.
Aircraft Radio Corp. designs incorportated
power distribution and keying in the modulators.
Original design keys the transmitters
with a relay in the B+ line.
A dynamotor provides a single High Voltage
source of between 450 and 600 VDC.
This voltage feeds the PA plates.
The lower voltages are derived from voltage dividers.
This design has worked well for 70+ years now.
Transmitters in good repair run well and
stable without oscillator regulation *when on dynamotor,*
which has inherent regulation.
A home-brew supply should be able to source
200 mills or better without rolling-over
and you may want to regulate the OSC. buss.
I've omitted bypass caps from the diagrams
for the sake of clarity. You all know
where they go ;-)
