Regardless of the Hollywood BS, the story is basically true and is about a  
heroic group of young Black Men who this Country thought were not trainable 
to  fly aircraft and who wound up not only making history but along with 
it, were  responsible for saving the lives of countless White American Bomber 
crews  who without the valor of the Red Tails, might have fallen victim to 
German  fighters. Take it for what it's worth. By the way, better not watch 
any movies  about American combat. They all have their share of Hollywood 
hype. Movies are  made for entertainment. Any resemblance to persons living or 
dead rests with the  minds of the producers.
