CW transmitters 40 years ago using the 5763 and it has been one of my favorite
tubes ever since.  And it is often found NIB, dirt cheap.

I would have loved to see a version of the 5763 with a plate cap connection.
Transmitting tubes just don't look right (post-1937) without that cap.
