No ridicule from here, Neil.
In this field, I've learned to "never say never."
If you can think of an advantageous procedure or
configuration, someone likely worked with it at one time or other.
While I haven't seen documentation of your suggestion in
the training or procedures manual, that doesn't mean a lot.
In fact, I'd be very surprised if it hadn't been tried.
