See? Whaddeye tell ya? It's VooDoo... black magic.
Nothing solid. No fixed answers. All "maybe" and "might"
and "should work." Dental picks and microscopes in the night.
I tell ya, it makes a fella want to go find
a Jamacian "HooDoo Man." He say: "You got to call
de spirits jussss right, Mon... De spell it got be jusss so...,"
whereupon he will give you a black cat bone and
some corpse dust to sprinkle around your painting bench
while chanting some archane "wrinkle" spell....
God bless all ya'll who chose to struggle with the evil
wrinkle-paint demons, and I admire your pluck and courage.
Not me.... That last try on a TR-7 cover finished me up.
I'm done with making messes.
If I have a piece that needs that level of restoration,
I'm going to find a professional who practices
this spooky wrinkle magic daily. He'll get it right.
Otherwise I'm going to pass the thing along and look
for a better example or, in the case of minor things like
a modulator cover, be happy with alternatives.
