Dave and Group,
I have a TN-6 with virtually no paint left on it.To restore, it will need disassembly, paint, reassembly and some way to to do the lettering. Any body have any ideas or should I leave it as is? Isn't the mount for the TN-6 the same as for the modulator?
 Thanks,
             Jay KE6PPF

Fall Project:

Ain't she purrr-deee? ;-)
es- that is the display board I used way back at the first
RCG meeting in San Luis Obisbo in 1995, re-worked.
Haven't finished refurbing the R-25, so using an R-26 for tests.
he J-22 jack box is mounted on the vertical post just
ehind and to the left of the receiver. Will be moving that
nder the C-26 once I lace-up a longer cable. This set
oes not use (or need) a C-29 TX control box;
n authentic option. All the major and most of the minor
omponants match the contract of the T-17 and TN-6,
Xsa-32848.
ll the connectors save one are 9000-series ARC-5 loom type.
haven't found my "correct" ARR-2 receiver rack- must be here
omewhere- so am temporarily subbing the rare ARA single
ack until I do find it. The manual says to connect the TN-6
oading coil between the transmitter and the antenna switch,
ut this is bad practice as- if using the intended electrically-short
ircraft antenna- it puts a high-voltage node inside the RE-2.
o I elected to insert it after the switch (probably won't need it
nyway, but it just looks so cool ;-).
Winter Project: 90% certain it will be the Australian AT5/AR8.
OK ya'll- your turn. What's your "winter" project?
