Subject: [ARC5] ARC-5 T-xx? Tank Coil

P.S. the proper PA tank coils for ARC-5 transmitters are:

500-800 KC 9226
800-1300 KC 9231
1300-2100 KC 9234
2100-3000 KC 9291
3000-4000 KC 9292
4000-5300 KC 9292
5300-7000 KC 9294
7000-9100 KC 9295

Don't forget the ceramic tubular, C-72, which is usually removed
and lost the same time as the PA coil in ARC-5 transmitters.
It's the plate DC blocking cap, 400 pFd, tested at 1800 volts.
You really must have the correct cap, as this one is
specially speced to handle the modulation peaks and compensate
for temperature changes in the cap.
A cheap cap will change value with heat and thus
change the PA loading and pull the Master Oscillator.
It can even lead to FMing if the cap is really bad.
I'll try to find the right one in the stash.
