Confirm that. At work, I have been looking up the freq allocation paperwork for a govt radar site, and learned that govt freqs are regulated by DOC and NTIA, and the FCC takes advisement from them and documents the band allocations accordingly.

Given the stupid waste of HF spectrum under Uncle Stupid's
gross mis-managment, I find all this hair-splitting on 60 meter channels
coming from the FCC to be laughable... and sad.
Life is too short for me to stress-out over some granny-glasses
little minion wetting his widdle panties when he finds I'm 27 hz off frequency.
I'd just as soon stay on 40 meters and be happy, thanks.
