[ARC5] Hamfest CBY-46145

I rarely post here, but appreciate all of those who keep this list 
active. Now, on to the purpose for my post. At Ft. Wayne yesterday I 
found a what appears to be a ARC CBY-456145, .52-1.5 Mc receiver. I 
checked the contract number on the rear of the unit, and that is what 
I came up with at least. It has not been too badly hacked up, but 
there are two extra holes in the front panel used to mount a BNC 
chassis connector where the antenna post should be. The audio 
transformer has been swapped out, and I have not inspected the 
filament wiring yet.

My real problem is the receiver is missing the top cover. The 
internal cover over the tuning cap is still present, but the black 
cover with the data plate that covers the entire top of the unit is 
missing. It is also missing the bottom cover as well, but I suspect 
that will be far easier to find.

Please don't laugh too hard, but If anyone has an orphaned top cover 
for this unit, I would be interested in talking with you. Thanks and 73,
