[ARC5] ARC-5 in the Bell X-1

Found it!  Here's a Hi-Rez scan of the instrument panel 
in the Bell X-1, photoed in 1949.

 Lower right quadrant, between the CABIN ALT. gauge 
and the arch-looking piece, you will find a switch panel marked:

" ARC-5 BANDS  A-B-C-D"

Radio Callsign plaque reads either "E062" or "6062."

Now that's cool.....
