[ARC5] BC-AS-230

Hoping to complement my GF/RU - which has complete insides but hacked
outsides - I picked
up a BC-AS-230 at the Chino Hills swap meet. This unit has flawless outsides
but much of the
insides have gone.

The tube lineup (all missing, unfortunately) was: 2x VT-52 and 2x VT-25A,
according to engraving
on the chassis. This is slightly different from the GF-1, apparently, which
seems to have had 1x VT-52
and 3x VT-25A.

I can only find late model GF/RU schematics. There doesn't appear to be
anything in the
Surplus Schematics or Conversion manuals, or online, for the BC-XX-230. If
someone can point me
at schematics that would be interesting.

An appealing thing about the GF/RU is that it doesn't use any audiophile
tubes. I am thinking of
stuffing the BC-AS-230 shell with the GF/RU innards. Alternatively, if
someone has a legitimate
use for either (or both) of these units let me know and perhaps we can
trade.
