I've changed my original plan. I have a T-21 that has been severely hacked,
but has the
PA and antenna coils. I also have a T-22 with pristine front panel but
missing the coils.

The T-21 and T-22 antenna coils are the same. And there may be enough
adjustment on
the padded capacitor to allow the set to tune 40m with the T-21 PA coil.
This will yield one
functional and good-looking (from the front) T-22.

Unfortunately both sets have non-standard octal connectors, and worse, but
you can't
have everything.
