I have an unmodified ARC R-11A and wonder if it is practical to convert this set, to use as a Q-5'er or a tuneable IF following an 80/40m converter, when compared to the BC-453B with its calibrated dial. The 3 female connectors on the front panel lead me to believe the BC-453B would be the better choice. Thanks, Joe k7mks
