A recent post concerned the too-common bending of the 
receiver antenna post during shipping.

A tip:  When your roll of packing tap runs out,
the stiff cardboard "hub" that remains- usually
about 3 inches in diameter- can be fit over the front of
the receiver, making a "stand off" protector that can
absorb a reasonable impact and protect the antenna post.
