[ARC5] "Poor Man's A-4" Possible errors in schematic

I am just curious about this, but there appears to be two errors here:
1) there is a lead, drawn at the far left of the schematic with an arrow going
off to the left, labeled "Grid of last IF transf Z-3 pin 5", but the OTHER end of
this line is connected directly to the plate of the "LAST 12SK7". This cannot
possibly be correct.
2) There is another note on the schematic that says, "Tune BFO to upper.
Flip switch & tune padder to lower". This is ambiguous since the BFO must
be on the LOW side of the passband for USB, and on the HIGH side of the
passband for LSB.
The product detector shown here is a cathode-coupled dual-tride job, looking
an awful lot like a "Pullen Mixer".
I think the AGC circuitry leaves a lot to be desired, but was probably on the
"bleeding edge" at the time.
