Dennis and the gang - Now that I have much more info and better diagrams/photos (Thank-you everyone for your time!), I realize this one is NOT as intact as I'd hoped. Poring over the manual and some of the CQ articles, looks like it was "partially" converted for use as a VFO. Will take more work than I want to expend right now. I'll hang onto it for a while and think about it.
