[ARC5] another whatsit?

SPR = Shipboard, Radar (Pulse), Receiving

It's the shipboard version of the AN/APR-5 - 1,000-6,000MHz surveillance 
receiver.  Steel case rather than aluminum, and heaver shock mount to 
meet shipboard requirements.  Otherwise the same as the airborne version.
