Control Box Dials - Questions
(a repeat of an earlier message)
Re designation/identification/labeling details:
Any significance in an earlier (SN 39,+ + +) antenna relay unit being
labeled "BC-442-A"
whereas a later one (SN 94 ,+ + + ) is labeled "BC442-A"
A shortened-form development or just a plain error ?

I've been thinking about that letter some in terms of my short (Some people
would say way too long. :-D ) career as a draftsman. What I've been
thinking is the letter may relate to a contractor or subcontractor since the
numbers remain the same with different letters in front.

I may be a Messer but I generally clean up after myself. :-D
Anyway, that was my thinking as well. It also simplifies the logistics
train significantly to have one part number for both the original and
improved styles.
