Just catching up on old emails. I saw this posting and after a little
nosing around I said "who needs this" and ran this Unix command:
wget -nc -r
http://www.fischer-tropsch.org/primary_documents/gvt_reports/USNAVY/ -w 5
And got more than I initially wanted since wget went up-level to grab this
much:
Downloaded: 1,433,566,471 bytes in 2128 files
Yikes! But there's some really great stuff in there, especially about the
German WW II synthetic oil production methods. Not to mention all of the
Japanese electronic info. And lots of other interesting stuff and such.
All in HTML and pdf (chapter by chapter as well as all in one file - yay!)
to make things easier. I looked at their site map and it wasn't obvious how
to navigate to a lot of this stuff from their top level pages. Oh well, no
need now, and what's a few more gigabytes among friends :-)
