[ARC5] ARC-5 Spline Question

Before I gave away some (a few too many, it turns out), I spent an idle
afternoon connecting all of the adapters I had together.  Not counting the
one that I got for a Model D-derived Rx, There were seven (eight?) of them
which I put together in all sorts of weird configurations.  It turns out you
can make complete squares but not with all combinations.  

See what happens when psychotropic meds kick into high gear unexpectedly?
