Hello folks,

I acquired a T-23 from a deceased estate. It was moderately complete. 
However, someone in its past had modified the coil sets to allow 
transmission on 50 MHz and 220 MHz. The mods look really well done.

Was there a magazine article that laid out the changes required to achieve 
these bands? Better still, have you a copy you can scan to me? I would be 
most grateful for any info that could help me  - I like the idea of 50 MHz, 
but in Australia, we have no legal access to 220 MHz; so, I would like to 
convert that particular position back to 144 MHz.

As the crystal multiplier for this set is 18x, I would be interested in 
acquiring crystals in the 8.000 to 8.500 MHz range in the large DC-30 or 
CR-1A style case; my preference is in the 8.000 to 8.1111 MHz range, please.
