That little known company became Amphenol!  In 1942 Radio's Master
Encyclopedia on page N-1 its description is: Unbreakable shielded cable
connectors for any oax cable up to 13/32 in dia and may be reamed out to fit
cales  to 9/16. Insulation is ultra lo loss ampenol "912-A" polystyrene. 93M
is male with ring,93-F is Female and 3C is the chassis connector.  Price was
$1.50.

Only thing I could find in my storage area is something made by a little 
known company called American Phenolic Corporation. :-D   It does say 93 
series on it.  Chassis mount provided at no additional cost.
