You can also wire a couple of appropriate filament transformers "back to back" (using the filament winding for the common connection).  Take the heater/filament voltage from the common connection and then use the primary of the transformer that is NOT connected to the AC mains as the "high voltage" transformer.  With a full wave bridge rectifier this will give you plenty of voltage to run the receiver.

I have several power supplies made as such that I use for tube-type VHF converters, small receivers (i.e. ARC-5), etc.

Consider that a 120VAC isolation transformer with a bridge rectifier and a capacitive input filter will give you about 170VDC.
 
You could use one of these with a 12V or 24V transformer for the filaments.
