The mount isn't in that section of the manual, Dave. It's only in the
*late* (Nov 1944) RC-34 manual and was specifically designed for AT-6
and BT-13 installations because those aircraft were well known as
"beaters" due to poorly dampened vibration. The 6F8G (VT-99) had
proven particularly prone to failure with vibration (which is one of the
reasons the BC-347 was replaced by the AN/AIC-2), so....:-\
