If I'm not mistaken, the AR-88 receiver operated at the Copenhagen
resistance war museum, has been transistorized.
I was told something to this effect when I offered replacement tubes to one
of the members of the radio club
who operated the rig for tourists--mostly on May 5th, the date of the German
surrender in Northen Europe.
I don't know what transmitter was used at the museum but I could find out.
