Just a thought - I probably never would have gotten interested in the 
Command Sets had it not been for my CQ column in the 1960s. I might 
possibly have been interested - I grew up near Boonton and new several 
A.R.C. guys, and I get interested in odd things - but I would not have 
had an outlet for my research if it had not been for the Hams. - for 
whatever my research happens to be worth.

I like preservation, but it might not have been begun without the hams.
