These are different sets. What you actually have, apparently, is a US Navy
CCT-46145, part of the ARA aircraft radio receiver set, not a BC-946-B, part
of the USAAF SCR-274-N.

The SCR-274-N is based on the USN ARA/ATA original. Your ARA set differs from
the SCR-274-N by having black crackle paint and an AF output transformer that
has only 600 ohm output. The BC-946-B is unpainted and can be wired for either
600 or 8000 ohm output.

That's a bad sign. Just a little modification can ruin the value and make it
just a parts-value rig.

Drilled holes are very bad.

It was. Originals of military gear have no such holes in them until a ham
gets done working his magic on it. :-)

It's a receiver. There's likely to be other destruction on the set.

What about the sub-panel in the front? It should have a large power connector
that was designed to send power to an associated ZB homing adapter. But I'll
bet it has a home-made panel with a switch, phone jack, and RF gain potentiometer.
Very very bad.

It is also likely that, as a minimum, the set has been re-wired to supply tube
filaments from 12 vac power.

>Question? What would be a ball park figure of the value?

I'd say likely less than $50. Maybe well less.

>Should I leave the HB pwr sply intact when I list the radio for sale?

You might just as well.
