The CECOM site has a list of manuals that are
available for historical research "to qualified
researchers"
http://cecom.army.mil/historian/techmanuals.php?orderby=number
Some of the manuals are
SCR-AA-192 and SCR-AA-183 (this was one entry, so I'm assuming
it is one manual)
SCR-AE-183 and receiving equipments for SCR-AB-187 and
Radio Compass SCR-AA-186
SCR-AB-183 and receiving equipments for SCR-AA-187
SCR-AD-183 and SCR-AD-192
Which leads me to wonder if the BC-229 family of
receivers were used with other transmitters (besides
the BC-230 type), in a liason role.
How does one qualify as a "qualified researcher"?
The collection is in Maryland.
