There are at least four different NAVSHIPS manuals on at least five
different OS-8 models. Plus several Signal Corps manuals. OS-8E/U, at least as
originally built, has the same tube lineup as OS-8C/U, of which it is a minor
modification. Over the years, I've heard several rumours of a solid state
model, but I've never actually seen one.
