There are two OS-8/U scopes in storage here awaiting overhaul which could
definitely benefit from these.  When I went over them to see what they
needed, one thing I noticed was the heat damage inside from the tubes
combined with the lack of air & ventilation.  While an article exists
regarding improvements to the scope that includes installing a fan, I'd
really rather not do that.  FETRONs or something of that order seem to be
the optimal solution albeit one I can afford by the same definition under
which I can afford even a barely recognizable KWM-2A - i.e., not at all.
