I don't doubt that everything got installed somewhere,
but I've never seen any documentation of ZB or ARR-2
being widely installed in any model of USAAF (Army)
fighter aircraft. HF and VHF RDFing for them from
the ground was wide-spread and well documented.
A ZB/ARR-2 would have been redundant equipment
in the ETO and in CONUS. That being said,
it's likely that, in the PTO and canal zone where
close cooperation with the Navy was needed,
at least squadron lead aircraft would make use
of the ZB-YG assets available. YGs were often set-up
on shore and were used like an enhanced "range" system,
and not just for aircraft.
