I didn't mean to give the impression I was
the first to open the crate; I wasn't. The original owner
removed the two manuals and the spare tubes but,
fortuantely, left the dynamotor, the radio and the packing
material. The tubes, dyno and manuals were packed in
below the radio, meaning if you set the crate on its side
with the radio upright, the space within the internal carton
below the radio held the other items. The spare tubes and
dyno appear to have been packed in corregated boxes.
The manuals were surrounded by folded corregate,
and folded corregated cardboard was used to fill
the remaining space and make for a tight pack.
Mike: there is no room left for adding
a shock mount, nor is packing material
that would fit one present.
Others who have opened such crates have
told me there would have been a wrapper around each box
as well, but they are not present in this crate.
Terrible to get old, because I have not a single memory
of where I got this crate- not even a hint.
