As an addenda to Mike's excellent list, I'll add a couple of details.
The GP-6a is earlier than GP-6. Or put another way, for some strange
reason when the remote connectors were changed from 4-pin to 6-pin, instead of
calling subsequent production "GP-6a", instructions were issued to stamp the
nameplates of the early GP-6 with the "a". I've never had a GP-6 of either
version so I don't know how many actually got stamped.
The standalone (no associated GF) receiver pairs or at least the RU-11, 12,
18 and 19 use a slightly different receiver than the rest. The front panel
connectors are different and the internal wiring is slightly different. So
they are not interchangable.
OK, three comments.
The only differences between the 14 and 28 volt receivers, transmitters and
control boxes are the nameplates. The receivers and transmitters (as with
SCR-542 and SCR-522) are all wired for 14 volts.
Also, I have an RU-19 receiver, dynamotor and connectors for sale (no shock
mount). And an RU-16 dynamotor.
