Thank you for this, Larry.  
396 KC was the main tower transmit freq.
for traffic.  Transmitted on 3650 KC
to talk to students.  
24/7 they monitored 3105, 3650, 4495 and 6210 KC.
Gosh... not a VHF freq in the mix. ;-)
