Dave,

That YAF fire was a real tragedy.  We used to go to the FAA office there 
at Willow Run for our C-130 and L-188 type ratings and FE checks.  I 
would always carve out some time to go to the museum hangar, when I 
brought a crew up for checkrides.  I am glad they are still operating!

I seem to remember a display with various radio items, a BC-221, etc and 
of all things, a Globe King!  I suppose that went up in the fire too.

The guys that managed to get the DC-3 and the B-17 out are heroes.
