Interesting photos.  The F4F is exactly the type of aircraft one
would expect to have an RU/GF and ZB.

I assume the RU would have a dual coil set that is remotely
switchable to a MF band to copy the BCB output of the ZB.  What
an aggravation it must have been to crank that receiver tuning
control back and forth to the correct frequencies for homing or
communications.  One couldn't have both at the same time with
the RU/GF/ZB.

Somewhere in the cockpit there must be the remote band switch
control for that dual coil pack.
