[ARC5] BC-429 receiver

Hello list-members:

This item  (270629365403) on 'the bay' is a BC-429 receiver.

Externally the box appears in good condition.
I bought a "command" set from Astles-Attic, and it was accurately described, and arrived in good condition.

I know nothing about this, beyond the idea that it is a regenerative set.  I understand it has a coil box, but my knowledge of the set does not allow me to "guess" if this is included.

First, does any-one else here have an interest in this set?
I see no point in engaging in a bidding war, and would not bid competetivly for a historic item.  

Secondly the postage will certainly cost me more than the item.

Comment about getting this unit going without modification is welcome.
(Yes, yes ... I know.  This is a form of madness ...)
