I found, in an old A.R.C. brochure, a photo of a Fokker "Universal," a single-engine all-metal aircraft built under license in the U.S. from 1926 until 1931. The A.R.C. plane was powered by a 330 hp radial Wright J-5 engine. It had "RADIO" in large letters on the fuselage ahead of the tail. - Gordon White
