Thanks for the tip on that.. I might not have realized that. Seems it might need some attention in alignment. Folks tell me that the DB-20 preselector helps on the upper bands, and there was an article on how to rebuild the front end stage of the radio for improved performance. I have other good radios, so may not be tempted to change the thing from what it is, as-is.
I had a better look at the radio yesterday. It seems to be in fine shape. It's in what appears to be an original cabinet, and has the noise blanker added module with three grid-capped octals and what must be a 6H6. I guess I'm lucky to have that add-in thing. I also have a DB-20 among the treasures here and when I unearth that, and get the radio recapped and overhauled, it promises to be a fun radio to use.
