I downloaded an internet site:
'ACS Analytical Chemistry, Research paper' --
A detailled description of an electrolytic detector operating "at 60 Hz ...
and near 1 MHz."
Several sites were found where the detector is described as quite sensitive.
Also an encapsulated one was developed and marketed commercially.
Could be interesting to experiment with, for the fun of it.
