Hello Henry,
Sorry, I can't help.  I don't have a single QST.  When your question
appeared I started to search for an answer, and found that reference.  When
I give an answer on the mailing list I try to be specific (in terms of
detail), rather than general, but QST magazine is much rarer here in
Australia than in USA.  Worse still, I once had a FULL set of Ham Radio, and
threw the lot in the bin.  I regret that, very much.
