"Out of the blue of the western sky comes..."
No, not Sky King, but some radio manuals. And it is more of the eastern sky and a 1946 Ercoupe 415C rather than a Bamboo Bomber. And with a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab mix rather than Penny. Otherwise pretty much all the same. By the way, the guy who played Sky King on TV was killed while on the way to view a Shuttle launch.
I was looking for something and found I have a number of manuals that I have no immediate use for and could make available to interested parties, (preferably one that features the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in a wet T-shirt contest).
1. Instruction book for RDO Radio Receiving Equipment. Original manual. Appears to be from 1944. The RDO is kind of a ship-based APR-4.
2. Handbook Service Instructions for the AN/ARW-55 radio transmitting set. Original manual, dated 15 Sep 1955.
3. Handbook of Operating Instructions for the AN/ARC-1. Original manual, dated 14 March 1944.
4. Manual on the AN/URC-51. Original Hammarlund manual from the late 1960's.
5. Field and Depot Maintanance Manual for the T-368/URT and BC-939-B. It is either orginal or a very good copy, with fold out schematics (Was this the transmitter used with the R-392?).
