I spent 4 years as an engineer for NASA at Ames Research Center, Moffet
Field, Mt. View, Ca.
My job was with NASA'a C-41 Airborne Obseservatory.
When the Division Director flew as Mission Director he would tune the HF
radio to 11M CB.
He identified with "Big Bird" a "10 wheeler with a T tail".
He was not limited to 5W!
