[ARC5] ZB discussion!

Homing is just one form of navigation in addition to course following
(4-course range, VOR, TACAN, ILS) and dead reckoning (inertial, Doppler
radar, compass/clock/speed). Position fixing is a big part of navigation
(stellar, Decca, loran, cross bearings, visual, radar, etc.). GPS is a
continuous position fixer (measures distances from satellites) with dead
reckoning between position fixes.

The word Navigation is much over used these days. Have you heard people
these days talking about "navigating" the internet?

At least, that's my outlook as a former naval aviator. Thanks to all for
this interesting discussion.

Mike, W6MAB
