[ARC5] Heater wiring - 12V vs 24v

Hello list members,

Mostly ARC-5 receivers (R23, R24 and so on) are wired for 24 volt operation.
Ditto for SCR-274N sets.

Sets bought and modified for surplus operation were often re-wired to operate from a 12 volt filament supply or probably 12 volt tubes switched for 6 volt tubes eg 6K8, not 12K8 etc

I would like independent confirmation that some sets came from the assembly line wired for 12 volt operation.  I have a BC band R24 with wiring that appears to be untouched, but with 12 volt tubes (12SK8, 12A6 and so on) that is wired for 12 volt, not 24V operation.  Comments read with interest.
