[ARC5] Test set help

Hello, picked up a test set last weekend at local swap, looks similar to a BC221, but has a much higher freq. range....85 to 1000MHZ, unit was made by COLORTONE ELECTRONICS. Tag on unit :Signal Corps.Freq. Meter TS-175C/U ....looking for any info.
The unit uses 7 and 9 pin min. tubes, same case as a BC221 any help?????
