John,
Do you have any info concerning:
(1) The date of the loss of the aircraft (even if it is only the year), and
(2) The unit and naval air station to which the aircraft was attached?
This could help in determining any significance to that 6.47 MC HF military
channel and the 0.401/3.105 MC civil air communication channel in the ARA-ATA.
If a regional tower of that era used 401 KC tower-to-air, that would be
informative. US Army Airways towers of the era often used a similar frequency
of 396 KC.
The BCB CBY-46145 setting of 1.11 MC indicates the BCB modulation frequency
of the 246 MC signal that the YE (carrier) or YG (land) homing beacon emitted,
as detected and demodulated by the ZB.
When you open the RT-19/ARC-4, you will probably find the standard channels
usually found in the RT-19:
1 (P-P) 140.58 MC
2 (P-G) 142.02 MC
3 (P-G) 142.56 MC
4 (P-G) 142.74 MC
