Actually, the correct version is that tantalum capacitors were not used in 
the AN/ARC-5 components.  There are, however, some electrolytic capacitors 
used.  For example, C30 is a 15 ufd 35 VDC electrolytic used as 12A6 cathode 
bypass in the COMM receivers and as a DC blocking capacitor in the ILS 
output in the NAV receivers.  C32, 5 ufd 300 VDC, is used in all five receivers 
on the output of the B+ filter from the dynamotor.  The triple 0.22 ufd 300 
VDC capacitor used in the receivers has paper dielectric.
